God! Where are you?

There is a path which no fowl knoweth,
and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen:
The lion’s whelps have not trodden it,
nor the fierce lion passed by it...

But where shall wisdom be found?
and where is the place of understanding?
Man knoweth not the price thereof;
neither is it found in the land of the living.

The depth saith, It is not in me:
and the sea saith, It is not with me.
It cannot be gotten for gold,
neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

Whence then cometh wisdom?
and where is the place of understanding?
Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

Destruction and death say,
We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.
The Book of Job


And where too is God to be found?
If I look amongst the stars-
mine eye is confounded by the magnitude.

If I look to the clouds all vision is obscured.
If I seek to pierce the darkness of the night sky
it is a deep immense and vast
and too great for comprehension.
.
If I my eye should dare toward the sun
His glory warns not there to attempt

But where is the Creator of heaven and earth?
and how shall I find or know Him?
Above the heavens? In the deep?
No, I can only find him by searching
that darkness within my own being.

Then said Solomon,
The LORD hath said that he would dwell
in the thick darkness.
2 Chronicles 6.1


Within!
That is the only place that I am sure of him/
.It is there that I find the witness.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness ,
hath shined in our hearts, to give the light
of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4.6


And his word is nigh- even on my lips.
His breath sustains me.
And now I find that understanding and wisdom
have become like a lush landscape of heaven
within my very heart.

Neither shall they say , Lo here! or, lo there!
for, behold , the kingdom of God is within you.
